Roadside 16-05-10 National Air Traffic Services radar at Titterstone Clee

A photo of the National Air Traffic Services radar at Titterstone Clee, titter ye not.
Seemed appropriate give the amount of flight grief many have had this, and last, month. More updates soon, when either the temperature reaches a more conducive to work level or else I find an air conditioned bunker to work in…

I was very shocked and sad to read the following on Daves webpage this morning.

TO ALL DAVE CRIPPS FRIENDS/FANS I’M SORRY TO INFORM YOU THAT DAVE PASSED AWAY TODAY 15/06/2010.
AFTER A SHORT BATTLE WITH CANCER.

Thank You for all you condolences.
Dave’s funeral will be on the 28th June at 13:00 :
    Woodlands Cemetery
    Birmingham Road
    Coleshill
    Birmingham
    B34 1 DP.
All off Dave’s friend welcome, family flowers only.

Its still sinking in that I will no longer have his sometime witty and sometimes funnily sarcastic comments pop up on here, I’ll surely miss randomly hearing from him in that way, and also seeing what paintings he had been doing, or at least, the ones that Elfwood accepted.

We worked together for a few years a while back and while Dave was always quite a private person and kept a lot of things to himself we’ve continued to have a back and forth on our respective parts of the internet ever since. Theres aren’t a huge amount of people who can make me laugh, Dave was certainly one of them. It certainly seems unfair that he won’t be around anymore.
