Site update

finally shelled out for some ‘proper’ hosting space for this site, something I’ve been meaning to do for the last four or five years. Oh well, got there in the end. Bye bye freeserve, thanks for all the page views.

I chose* as I’ve used them on and off for various clients and found them to be reliable, helpful and competent – they really do what they say they will, in fact the largest problem I had was getting them on the phone to give them my money. Lets hope now I’ve written this it doesn’t all go wrong…

*Update: I stayed with Namesco for about another six years, unfortunately as the business grew the customer service and reliability fell away and the cost continued to rise far above average. I don’t mind paying over the odds for a better service, but not for a worse one, hosting moved again in 2014.

maybe I am, but it looks like I won’t be in China. Seems this site and its subversive mix of illustrations, paintings and photos is just too much for the chinese authorities.

All links now dead. Sad times.

New Domain Name
yes, you read that right, not only can you click to visit this site, but now we’ve gone global! Well, actually I may well work in some kind of split as to featuring my currently outdated web design folio on the .com site, but until then…

Dark Was The Night DVD

i‘ve just completed the DVD mastering and re-edit of the short film I made with a bunch of friends some 9 years back in Liverpool, Birmingham and Redditch.

Was it really that long ago?

There are some updated images on the projects page here, and also a new film clip. Dark was the night on DVD

If you’d really like to to see the film, plus associated outtakes and the all new ‘directors’ commentary, then by all means send me an email.

I’m not saying I’ll send out a DVD, but its always nice to feel wanted.

site update

welcome to the latest update of the site. As these things happen its taken a while to finish and so there have been few updates of late. Hopefully that will all change now.

The artwork in the gallery is in the process of being updated with better quality scans and photos and also theres sure to be a lot of missing and broken links. Please bear with me while I sort those out and if you find one you could help out by letting me know.

Seasonal update

now is the time to look in the back of the food cupboard for those old jars of mincemeat – you know, the vegetarian stuff with no preservatives.

Remove the lids at arms length, empty the contents into the bin and take the jars round to the bottle bank.
