  • Looking for The Barbican Bootleg

    Frizzi 2 Fulci at The Barbican in October 2014

    I’m trying to track down, and willing to buy*, a copy of Frizzi 2 Fulci – The Barbican Bootleg on Beat Records Company.

    I was at the Frizzi 2 Fulci show at London’s Barbican for Halloween in 2014 and it was a great night. I’ve been to a few film music performances and for the diversity of music and the musicians performing this was certainly one of the best, so I’d recommend it if you like this kind of thing and have the chance.

    Why am I trying to track down a copy of this specific release and posting it on here I hear you ask?

    Well the short answer is because a photo I took on the night was used on the back cover of this release (without my knowledge)

  • Painting

    I’ve been working on some oil paintings of late, here is one that turned out okay…

  • Custom Flag Painting

    This was a custom design which was to be hand painted onto a flag. As such the design was just a rough sketch, but that said I do quite like how it turned out.

    I’ll do my best to get a photo of the completed flag when we get a sunny day where the wind is blowing in the right direction!

    In a roundabout way these car drawings eventually lead to the ‘Weabazoot Industries‘ project.

  • The View from the Office

    I wasn’t thinking of the film Blue in the Face when I started this but…

    So I started taking photographs from the office kitchen window around 2009 when we moved offices and tumblr was still a thing.

    One each morning while the computers were warming up at around 8am. Dates are approximate as I tended to upload a weeks worth and file them to filter in to the tumblr over the following week.

    I changed camera once  during this and also I seem to have lost a bunch of early ones, due largely to not thinking of setting up a tumblr to upload/archive them until I was several months in.

    This all ended in 2013 when we were ‘urban renewed’ out of the office. In Bromsgrove of all places!

  • Quick sketch…

    I have a project I’m working on at the moment where I feel some illustrations would bring more to the project than stock photos would. They need to be quite quick to do and relatively simple. So I’ve been trying a few sketches in ink with a quick water colour wash. I think it may work…
